A ride on the nostalgic vintage train "Reblaus Express" is a real time travel experience over 42 km from Retz to Drosendorf.
Enjoy the beauty of nature, The train from Retz to Drosendorf (40 km) runs from May to the end of October on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Enjoy the landscape and time together while hiking and forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. In addition to the circular hiking trails through the Waldviertel, there are also marked hiking trails around Drosendorf. Furthermore, there are three long-distance hiking trails through Drosendorf and the surrounding area (630 Thayavallytrail, 632 Nepomuktrail, 633 Thya-Taffa-Wild Rundwanderung).
In summer, children and young people can learn to juggle, balance and ride unicycles in the big circus tent and in the wooden wagons.
Founded in 1990, the club organises weekly indoor and outdoor film screenings during the summer.
